Our Devotions
THESE DEVOTIONS have been endowed by Veronica's Veil, a non-profit organization which was established shortly before Veronica Weldes’ passing on May 24, 2022 at the age of 89.
Throughout her life, Veronica was deeply devoted to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart. It was due to her efforts that the Enthronement Devotion, in particular, became widespread in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Beginning in the 1990s she worked to distribute packets of Enthronement Materials and reached out to parishes in order to organize what were called “Enthronement Weekends.”
This continued well into the 2010s and since founding this ministry, some 211,000 Enthronement Packages have been distributed to families!
Entrusted with continuing this valuable work, we have endeavored to make the materials she widely distributed as relevant and accessible as possible to families in this day and age
Veronica took great pleasure in chatting about her Devotions with all those who were interested. With that same spirit we would be very glad to answer any questions you may have and assist your efforts to spread this devotion. We will do our best to respond quickly – as Veronica would have wanted to do herself.
