If you have visited before, we welcome you to our revised website and hope this updated information will be helpful. If you are a new visitor, it seems appropriate to present the following about the Enthronement Devotion.
Prologue - “Take It To Heart”
In the most Holy Eucharist, we truly receive the alive, real, human Heart of Jesus, which indeed is His Sacred Heart... the very Heart He asks us to love, honor and be united with every day through the Enthronement Devotion!* In return, He will give us all the gifts and blessings of His awesome 12 Great Promises, as revealed to St. Margaret Mary.
What a Great God we have!
Please pray that what you read
will give you all you need!
From your Enthronement Team,
Enthronement Ministries 2012

* Ed. Note: Eucharistic Miracle. The Holy Eucharist has been scientifically tested, verified, and proven to be human heart muscle and tissue, gathered from all the evidence at the various Eucharistic Miracle sites all over the world. Moreover, we must truly believe the words of Jesus Himself in John 6:52-59:
The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?”
Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.”
These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

The Enthronement is more than a blessing of the Sacred Heart picture for the home. It is the dedication of a person and family to the Divine Heart of Jesus, for us to live in union with Him by love, grace and obedience to His Commandments. The Enthronement brings countless graces and blessings, as enumerated in the Twelve Great Promises He made to St. Margaret Mary.
The Enthronement of the Sacred Heart is a beautiful devotion to the love that Jesus gives to us as we honor and return His love through our daily lives.
Parish Enthronement
Parish Enthronement Ministry originated and was designed to bring the beloved Enthronement Devotion to as many families as possible, while recognizing the time constraints in family life today.
The one place to "reach out" to Catholic families is, of course, at the weekend Masses in their parish, hence the names, Parish Enthronement Ministry offering the Parish Enthronement Weekend.
In the past ten years, 163 Parish Enthronement Weekends have been done and the Ministry has distributed more than 150,000 sets of the beautiful Enthronement Packets, not including those in Spanish and Vietnamese.
A packet of information and materials to do an Enthronement of the Sacred Heart and Consecration to the Immaculate Heart in your parish is available for your review.

Consider organizing an opportunity for all your parishioners, at one or more scheduled weekend Masses (or any other parish gatherings), to hear a short talk on the Enthronement and Consecration and to receive devotional materials to use in their own homes.
You may place an order for quanities of these packets for distribution at weekend Masses.

Knights of Columbus Programs
Over the years, successful Knights of Columbus Enthronement Programs have been developed.
For this Special News Update, we wish to share the wonderful journey of the Iowa City Knights of Columbus with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. The story begins with their call for Enthronement. information on our web, and "all the rest is history".
Programs and Activities for School Children
“Best Friends”
Our recent work with two schools has been a wonderful opportunity to develop and implement programming and materials for our "Best Friends" theme, based on the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Hear of Mary.
We were able to discuss plans for input, plus approval, with the prinicipal teachers and those in charge of religious and CCD education. This is the ideal educational-success path if you are able to get the teacher - administration cooperation to "reach and teach" the students.
We designed several new student pieces to coincide with this recent programming and all were well received and, hopefully, well used!
Please share any of your experiences about your school or children’s programs with us!

Legion of Mary
We are happy to be continually expanding our service to the Legion of Mary through your kind calls and contacts. We are pleased to have participated at Curia events, too.

What is new today is that on the request of a member in the Philadelphia area, we designed a new “Picture Prayer Card” of Jesus and Mary, which may be a wonderful gift to use for a client who is ill or not able to fully participate in the traditional Enthronement prayers.
Download this new picture prayer card by clicking on its image >
This picture card looks very beautiful when printed on glossy photo paper. It may be placed in an 8.5” x 11” or 7” x 10” frame (by trimming at the edge of the blue background). Or, when you print it out on letter-size paper you may simply attach it to a backing or pin on the wall where you may easily gaze upon it.
This may also be a nice gift for a new client family while discussing the Home Enthronement. Please refer to the Legion of Mary Handbook which encourages the Enthronement Devotion to Jesus and Mary as a proven, successful tool in Evangelization (reference Legio Mariae pages 234 - 235 and pages 310 - 311 to learn more about the Legion's support of the Enthronement in the home).
Often, Legion of Mary members are instrumental in bringing the Parish Enthronement Program to their parishes so that all are able to share in the graces and blessings of this beautiful devotion. For more information about the Parish Enthronement Program, contact us.

About the Enthronement
The "Enthronement" is more than a blessing of the
Sacred Heart picture for the home.
It is the dedication of a person and family to the Divine Heart of Jesus, for us to live in union with Him by love, grace and obedience to His Commandments. The Enthronement brings countless graces and blessings, as enumerated in the Twelve Great Promises He made to St. Margaret Mary.
Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus has existed throughout much of the history of the Church. However, in France in June 1675, Jesus instructed St. Margaret Mary Alacoque that He wished devotion to His Sacred Heart to be made known to the world. Through her efforts and those of St. Claude La Colombiere, and with the grace of God, devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus did spread throughout the world. Jesus conveyed to St. Margaret Mary, Twelve Great Promises for those devoted to His Sacred Heart.
The modern day version of the devotion, whereby the Sacred Heart of Jesus is enthroned into homes, was started in the early 1900s by Father Mateo Crawley-Boevey of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Pope Pius X directed Father Mateo to make it his life’s work to bring the “entire world, home by home, family by family to the Sacred Heart”.
The Enthronement of the Sacred Heart is a beautiful devotion to the love that Jesus gives to us as we honor and return His love through our daily lives.
