Home Enthronement

The Enthronement is more than a blessing of the Sacred Heart picture for the home. It is the dedication of a person and family to the Divine Heart of Jesus, for us to live in union with Him by love, grace and obedience to His Commandments. The Enthronement brings countless graces and blessings, as enumerated in the

Twelve Great Promises He made to St. Margaret Mary.

The Enthronement of the Sacred Heart is a beautiful devotion to the love that Jesus gives to us as we honor and return His love through our daily lives.

To help spread the Enthronement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a group of Catholic volunteers from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, have developed devotional materials for your use in your homes.

IN YOUR PARISH   Visit the Parish Enthronement website.

“Parish Enthronements” are typically accomplished by organizing an “Enthronement Event” in collaboration with your Pastor. Won’t you consider leading such an endeavor today?

Establish a date, advertise the date in your Parish Bulletin and mobilize volunteers for help with the distribution of packets and collection of donations to cover the investment in purchasing the Enthronement Packets (including beautiful pictures of Jesus and Mary which families are encouraged to frame and put in a place of honor in their homes).

Typically, a short talk is given after Communion at Mass (but any parish gathering is appropriate), Enthronement Packets are distributed and the people are then led in saying Enthronement and Consecration Prayers

Contact us for more help in organizing this type of event and to purchase Enthronement Packets.

The Knights of Columbus has embraced the Enthronement and Consecration devotions. In fact, this special devotion was unanimously approved at the 107th Annual Pennsylvania Knights of Columbus State Convention as a spiritual activity to be supported within every Knights’ home, council and parish. And this devotion has been blessed by Justin Cardinal Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia.

Contact our Knights of Columbus Enthronement Chairman for more information and assistance in planning an event to include your Chapter and perhaps others as well.

You can develop a short presentation, using the Enthronement materials, to be given to your groups or organizations to fan the flames of love and dramatically broaden the reach of this devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.  Learn More >
